Halloween! It will be here before I know it… like tomorrow! Costumes have been decided (well, one for sure, and the second keeps changing between a hockey player or a baseball player—my money is on a combo of the two). Halloween crafts have already begun, and this year, we will be hosting a Halloween party—which means… Halloween Games for Kids!
Since I am how I am, we will be having oodles of crafts, activities, and games to keep those Halloween boys and ghouls busy.
One way we’re going to do that is with our Halloween Countdown Activity Calendar. Each day, there’s a little Halloween-themed activity we can do together, as well as a bunch of activity pages this mama can pull out when I need an extra few minutes of quiet. You can grab yours FREE right here:
Below are some more Halloween ideas that I’m thinking about pulling out at our party. I thought I’d share just in case you are throwing a spook-ebration too!

Even More Creative Game Ideas!
Halloween Counting Activity – This fun preschool activity can be done indoors and then extended outdoors with so much fun for groups, small or large.
Pumpkin Golf by Eighteen25 – Turn a jack o’ lantern into part of a miniature golf game! This Halloween game is sure to put a smile on those little faces.
Pumpkin Chunkin’ Game by B-Inspired Mama – Make your own “pumpkins” and see how far the kids can throw them! This would be fun after Halloween, too, with old jack o’ lanterns.
Spider Web Walking Game by No Time for Flash Cards – A simple Halloween game that you can set up inside or outdoors.
Pumpkin Popcorn Relay by Meaningful Mama – This can be a team or individual relay race to see which team can fill the pumpkin with popcorn first.
There you have them—lots of Halloween games for the little ones to enjoy. You will also notice, because I am how I am, that there are no spooky or scary games. I am rather jumpy myself, so I will enjoy these cutesy Halloween parties just as long as I can.
But with these little ones of mine, I am not too sure how long they will last. Mama might not be attending these parties in the years ahead—I’ll stay indoors and paint smiling faces on pumpkins.
